We're planning on spending this summer in the Manitou Springs, CO area and are looking for part time jobs.

We prefer something in retail, attractions or gifts shops instead of working in an RV Park for just your site.

Have any of you worked in this area?

One place that usually advertises for summer help is The North Pole in Manitou. It is a small theme park, I think mainly for kids. They have rides, a Santa, gift shops, and obviously a Santa/Christmas theme. Cave of the Winds also runs ads for tour guides, gift shop clerks, etc. It is also in Manitou.

I would also try the Garden of the Gods Trading Post and/or Visitors' Center. There are "a ton" of shops in Manitou and Old Colorado City. I'd suggest searching the internet for store names and give them a call.
