This is a great question. I don't technically store my MH. I keep it parked on the side of my warehouse in South Florida and use it at least monthly. The parking lot is uneven where I park it so I keep the jacks down.

I don't like keeping the coach tilted. Am I risking future issues with the jacks? I do spray them occasionally and mud and snow are not issues here.

We store for longer times with "some" weight off the tires. Just enough so they are not bulged. We put a piece of 4x4 under the jacks so they don't need to be all the way down.

I store the coach with the jacks down to take the weight off of the suspension. We keep the motorhome in a secured garage that has a concrete floor and it has a 30 amp plug-in.

I would assume that people that full time in their RV's keep the jacks down all of the time with no adverse affect. I think it is a personal preference and either choice is OK.

Jacks down for storage as per Monaco Tech to take some load off the suspension and tires.

Jacks down slightly to take some pressure off the suspension while stored inside.
