Looking at an RV park in Alaska and it lists number of sites so on. It also says, and this is where I require clarification.
"Dry site free with Fuel fill up"
So you stay free if you fill up with fuel?
If this is a silly question, humour me and explain it anyway...lol

Fuel is so high priced they can let you "camp" in their parking lot.

Looks like they will allow you to stay free, without any hookups.

I think it's a free dry camping site (no water, elec or sewer) if you fill up with fuel. Don't seem like much of a bargain as there are muliple places to pull over and just spend the night for free

It means if you fill up with fuel you can camp for free with no hook-ups (electric, water or sewer). If you plan on "dry camping" anyway go for it.

that's not so bad, you always need to fuel up if you are traveling. at least you have a place with some form of security.

When we went thru Tok Alaska you could stay for free in a nice RV place if you ate dinner there. It was a very nice barbaque.

My memories of Alaska are lots of land and darned few people. Maybe the guy with the fuel just likes somebody to talk to from time to time. If he doesn't have a family, he may go days without speaking.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

The day can't be far off to when the sign will say "Fill up here and we'll throw in the truck."
