I bought a Verizon air card in December and it worked well. Starting 2-3 weeks ago I've had frequent disconnects and notices that the internet was not available even though the air card still showed connection. Could the recent solar activity have anything to do with this? I made 10 attempts to set up an air card connection this morning before using the RV park wifi, which is the reason I bought the air card in the first place. A trip to the Verizon store didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks

Call Verizon tech support for air cards. Forget Verizon stores.

Which air card do you have?

Have you tried unloading and reloading the drivers? I know the card I had with cricket had the drivers o. The card. So might give that a try. Also you might check your computers settings.

I have the Verizon mifi also. I have had that problem on a few occasions. It seems to lock up on occassions. I have been taking the battery out waiting a few seconds and then replace to re boot. Works fine after that. Good luck.

Another thing, go into device manager, select the modem properties and insure that under power management that the device cannot be shut off to conserve power

If you got a specific error number, you should be able to locate the problem on Verizon's support page.

Driver problems are a good possibility. Solar flares, not so much.

Called verizon. The air card is a 4g card being used in a 3g area. The tech told me how to change the setting. Good now.
