I would like to put a inside switch that will run all my outside marker and running lights. Any thoughts on the best way to do this.

I saw a rig that was all lit up and it was pretty cool...

Don't they call that a headlight switch? What are we missing here?

The OP has a trailer.

Here's a link for the one of many adapters (RVglow.com)

Personally I'm not a fan of the carnival lighting effects, but some are.

Is this what you want?
Just make a jumper and you will run all the lights, or a flasher can be used in an emergency along the roadway.

do you mean when you are in the camp ground the lights were on , on the other TT? from what I have read you take a jump wire and put in into two of the blades on the plug you plug into the truck for your driving lights. I don't know which slots to put the jumper in but maybe some one can elaborate on this.

The jumper wire and RV Glow look like a good idea but I would like a switch inside the trailer? The trailer would not be hooked up to the tow vehicle. The lights would run off the house batteries.

Duh? run two wires from a switch in a spot of your choosing to where Mike suggested to slot 3 and 4 of trailer plug. voiola instant lighting with the flick of a switch.

A neat and easy mod but please, please, please turn it off at night when you go to bed.

X2 - I fail to understand why people feel the need to artificially light up a campground, especially a rustic one.
