I just got rid of my 2010 coachman/forest river 2100cb. Drove it for 18,000 miles and it was a total disaster!!! Something broke or it broke down on every trip. Forest river never was cooperative untill we filed a lemon lawsuit and we spent 3000 dollars in lawyer fees to get sprinter dodge/frieghtliner/ mercedes , and forest river to fix it. Then it still broke down 3 more times untill we gave up and traded it in. It was a nightmare!

armpics,

Sorry to hear about the problems you experienced with your Coachmen motor home. Forest River purchased Coachmen in 2009. You may have gotten one of those units that were produced during the disruptive period when the transition in management and production practices was taking place.

It sounds like most of your problems were chassis related. If that is the case, they most likely were not directly related to Forest River workmanship. Nonetheless, (without knowing the details) it appears Forest River should have been more supportive in rectifying the situation.

We have a 2006 Forester with 30,000 miles, most items I fix myself. We use it 4-5 months out of the year biggest problem was with the dealership when we purchased new (Boat n RV) . Service was terrible !
