I purchased a hott rod 4 years ago when I was having problems with the LPG working on my HWH. It has served me well, but after not using it a couple of months, I returned to my RV and it no longer functions. The electrical connection is good and the unit was fired up with water in the tank. I pressed the reset button and made sure the thermostat was fastened tightly to the tank. Before I left, I drained the tank and the anode rod/hott rod looked fine. Do these things eventually burn out? I've probably had a total of one year's worth of service. Anyone else experience similar problem or have ideas for a fix?

Thanks, old Biscuit. That should be all I need. Unfortunately, the warranty isn't going to help me here since I need hot water now and don't have the time to go through the warranty process....will have to buy a new one and then I'll have a spare after I get the warranty worked out.
