I wonder if they live among us.....does this seem silly to anyone but me? $11 bucks to ship a small package of vacuum bags????
My post office has a little box that ships anything for less than $6.00. And this is an item that would fit in an envelope.
Common sense just isn't so common anymore.
Sent an email to customer service and got the same old Camping World response...."sorry, shipping costs are high...blah, blah, blah."
and the real irony is the banner ad they put up on the same page.....

Only time I buy from CW is when I have enough to get free or their low cost advertised shipping (i.e. the $5.75 in the banner). Their normal shipping costs are outrageous!!

I thought CW had a $5.99 shipping policy. UPS and FEDX has gone up in price a lot. I always check out Amazon first. Especially if it is over $25. Shipping is usually free. In most cases they can beat CW prices.

At what point did you determine the shipping cost was ridiculous. Before or after you bought them?

I'm guessing they don't know, or don't care....
It can't be the first, because I've emailed them before about it.

Everyone's shipping cost are now outrageous. All your large companies use either UPS or FedEx which has a standard pick up time that they take all shipping items usually toward the end of the day and it costs. The problem with the post office is when you mail items you have restricted packing sizes and they do not do large bulk pick up service like other delivery companies.

Shipping charge is shown on the checkout page before you commit to purchase. Unless I am missing something I justI dont see the issue...

It's no secret many companies make more profit in "Shipping and Handling" than the product they sell. Sure, packaging materials and freight costs are high but it doesn't cost $11 to package and ship a few vacuum bags.

Actually the post office DOES pick up bulk mailings!...My GF works as a rural carrier and one of the places she delivered to sold ROCKS...and they used those "if it fits, it ships" boxes...those boxes weighed 30# and on different occasions she had to make a second trip to pick them all up!
