Hi Gang! I'm new to RVing in general but have a pretty good understanding of RV systems from my years as a boater. I can see that are many styles and levels of quality throughout the manufactures and the components they incorporate.
I have an particular interest in RVing in the Western States this summer and would love to take my dresser and bring along an SUV for the wife. So I been spending countless hours researching and pondering over the endless choices of RVs out there and have come up with several questions for you expirenced RVers.
I would like to know your thoughts on the Travel Supreme ME.... It seems to have all the features I want PLUS the garage!
I know TS is gone so my search has been for a used low mileage unit. TS only built a 100 or so of these models. I wonder why this design didn't sell? Any issues with the Mid Engine design?
Thanks in advance for your input!

Why not use a lift and you can take both without the garage.

2005 Travel Supreme ME. Interesting setup. Floor plan looks good. It's a bit specialized and targets a small market. The rear bed looks to be pretty high off the floor to make room for the garage which could be awkward. I wouldn't consider Travel Supreme being out of business a show stopper if your mechanical and home maintenance/repair skills or fairly good. Research the chassis and drive train for potential long term issues. If you need a grease pit to change fuel or compressed air filters, that could be a potential side of the road break down issue. I would also bone up on hydraulic maintenance and operations to support the garage floor.
Here's a long thread on iRV2 asking about the same question.
Good luck on your search.

looks like a nice rig but the toyhaulers dont take much to become over loaded.
Its better to have a seperate trailer since you'll always be looking for more room. An 8x20 all aluminum trailer can carry 2 bikes, a car, and golf cart with ease and can be had new for less than $10k. Then you can chose a class A rig that suits your space needs.

I believe you will find that Travel Supreme's are well built and the fact they are no longer in business should not be a major concern. If you haven't already, check out the link Dale.Traveling identified above to the iRV2 Travel Supreme/Entegra Owners forum. Although I am not familiar with the ME, if you have any TS specific questions, feel free to contact me. Welcome and good luck with your search.

The garage looks small for 2 MC. Especially if one is a decker.

The garage is ok for one bike, two is more of struggle. I've been told it can be done by pointing the bikes in different directions.
We plan on traveling alone and may have some guests from time to time. So it won't be too much trouble to shoehorn them in.
The other option is to use a stacker trailer. To me it seems to make the rig too long to deal with. We plan to do some gunkholing (in sailorspeak) I guess you would call that dry camping in here. Pulling all that length might restrict us from some sites.
Thanks again for your input.

if you bought a 41' rig then added an 18' trailer... you would be under 65' with ease. And you'd have 144' sq ft of floor space.

We have friends with a Class A toyhauler who put put a Harley trike in the garage and they have a 16 ft. enclosed trailer for the other bike. Guess you could put a car (Smart or Fiat 500) in the garage and 2 bikes in an enclosed trailer.
