Has anyone purchased there service through Sams Club.. Just signed up and it's been a hassle.. They deal through a company name Smart Circle International. I did a Google searth on this company and it really seems like a scam. The reviews were horrible and was surprised Sams would have a company like this selling in there store..Anyone purchase this package, would love to hear some feedback.. thanks Dave

Dave, I would revisit your Sam's Club and ask to speak with the Club manager. Any problems you might be having will probably get fixed pretty quickly.....JMHO....Dennis

I signed up with Diredct TV throughy the offer in MH mag. a few years ago and had similar experience. I finally got back to Dish when that experience expired. I got a free tripod and dish and that was drew me in. I still haven't taken either out of the box after 5 years. I really needed them? I was in Sam's this morning and got approached. I saaid NO I was happy with Dish.

The deal was very good.. 2 yr contract, 1st year $53 for 4HD receivers and one of those is a DVR, Choice extra plan, and free Showtime, HBO, Cinemax, Starz and one other one for the first nine months..Free install, and the second year went up to $63.. Plus local channels were included..

I signed up there and had no problem with the deal. The installer (contractor) did not hook up my internet connection like he was supposed to, but Direct sent one of their people out and resolved the problem. Not sure if it was the same sales company or not, but it was through Sam's and it was third party.

Both Dish and Direct TV are lying thiefs. Sams is an uninterested third party. If you want to innoculate yourself against this, buy from Costco. I buy everything I can from Costco including all my insurance, Direct TV, cell phone service, and 22.5 tires. Costco is my advocate.

I strongly disagree that "Sams is an uninterested third party". If this product is being sold on Sam's property and with their knowledge, you can be assured there is a financial benefit to Sam's. This makes them definitely "interested".

Talk to the people at DirecTV before you make a purchase. We have Directv for both home and the RV. We purchased the box and dish for the motorhome way back when they were offering the entire system for customer ownership. Later when we added the house, component ownership through DirecTv was no longer available. We could "lease" a box and dish for an initial payment of $69.00 plus a $5.00 per month fee.

Here's the catch. You could buy the equiment from another supplier BUT there was a $69.00 connection fee plus the same $5.00 monthly service fee. The only difference was if you leased the equipment and something failed they diagnosed the problem and replaced any defective component free. If you owned the equipment there was an $80.00 service call fee, and you were responsible for replacing defective components. Needless to say since the costs were the same we chose to "lease" the equipment and let them worry about service and replacements.
