My wife and I are new to the RV community and need to know the best RV resort or campground in PCB. We have a 38 foot class A. We also have a dog. Some good suggestions would be great. Would love to be close to the beach if possible. I am in a wheelchair and need a good paved park. Any others in another part of the north part of the gulf would be great also.

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is close to Panama City Beach and is a beautiful park.

While I have not stayed here I have driven through it many times. It is completely paved and very modern. Nice looking facilities.

St Andrews State Park. Very nice park with unpaved sites BUT all the main roads are paved. Easy access to the back bay area and there is wheel chair access up to the beach all from within the park.

We stayed at the Emerald Coast RV resort in PCB last fall. We loved it and plan on returning. Everyone there (from the front desk to the groundskeepers) was very friendly. They are next to the small PCB zoo, a mile or so from the beach, and have a brand new (Class A) section too. They were also very accommodating when we needed to wait around for a part that we had shipped there. Our part didn't arrive until well after checkout time, but we were invited to stay put until UPS ran with our needed part (at no charge). Being our very first trip in our first RV, it meant a lot to us. Look them up. Their ratings are very high for good reason.
