Just be glad they aren`t out at 7:30 a.m. cutting the grass around your RV or weed whacking and kicking rocks at the side of your RV! I`ve seen and heard this before. not my own, but others in the campground when out walking the dog!

I've never understood why campgrounds seem to do all their lawncare on weekends. This is a business that probably 2/3 of your campers are there on weekends and not weekdays, do the maintenance then. We have had that problem at a few campgrounds/RV resorts.

Then everyone should know about it and they can set their alarm if they want to go down. They don't need to wake those that DON'T want to go.

First off we want to thank you for choosing Carefree RV Resorts, Dunedin RV Resort is a beautiful park and we take great pride in the property and strive to have an active and fun environment for all guests. Every other Saturday we host a breakfast for all our guests and residents. This is a time to come together with neighbors and meet new friends. Yes we do have a bugle that plays throughout the park on those mornings, not from a speaker system but from one of our employees as they cruise through the park, generally he starts just after 8am. I apologize if this time the festivities started earlier but I assure you we will not make that a habit. Generally we find that this little tradition of ours excites guests, we are sorry that was not the case in your situation. Please be assured that again, this is not a daily occurrence, just a fun bi-monthly tradition we have here at Dunedin RV Resort. Safe travels to all, we hope you'll come see us again soon.

It is really good to see the management following these forums and responding. I think this is a great place to gather information. On the OP's note, I also am staying here, also from Minneapolis, and also heard the bugle. I went for the eats but was suprised that it was not complementary but fortunately I had the 3 bucks. CCTV stop by and say hello to Jones4110 at site 76.

With all due respect, I can think of better ways to start the day. As I said in the OP, I guess it is open season on waking us up after your 8am end to quiet time. But the whole reason for the post was that you were doing it at 7:30 when YOUR rules say quiet time goes to 8. Some of us would appreciate that if you think it is fun to do this then wait until 8 or later. On the other hand, thanks for responding.
