GrandmaCarol, It is not that we didn't like Seldovia; I just meant this was our least favorite boat tour mostly because of lack of animal sightings. We may have seen an eagle off the marina in Homer and then some bird island and finally sea otters (which we love). The town was sort of interesting and we found a good place for lunch. On the way back to Homer, our friends got drenched by large wave that went over the bow!

P.S. One of our all time favorite day trips was out of Homer over to Lake Clark! We saw lots and lots of brown bear grazing on grass and even saw bear digging clams.
