Great place, walk out the back to the beach, very nice common area with widescreen TV. They are working hard to get the pool finished. We would go back. It's a brand new park and it's right on Stewart Beach in Galveston. Clean restrooms and showers, modern laundry area, very nicely landscaped. I don't think you'll be disappointed. However, we like the state park even more. We stay at Delanera because it's on the beach. They don't have a pool but we don't care about that, since we don't have children. We drove down to Jamaica Beach to check it out. It's been redone since the hurricane. They have a small pool and a spray garden. They were putting in miniature golf. It is across the street, but if you have a truck you can drive right up on the beach. The state park is also nice, but no sewer. Have fun! Live each day as though it were your last!
