The plugs are different for 30 amp vs. 50 Amp. Our TT has a 30 amp plug but I have a 50 amp adapter just in case we end up in a CG that only has 50 amp spots.

Almost all travel trailers come in 30 amp form. 5'ers are 50 amp.
