Does anyone know anything about these TT?? Any advice or help?
The only thing my hubby is worried about is the floor near the door over the TT is soft... any advice?? its hardwood laminate flooring...
Need some advice.. words of wisdom etc..

Soft floor sounds like water leak damage.
1st you need to identify the source of the water leak. Best way is find a dealer that will preform a Sealtech test. Which is, they put air pressure inside the the unit and then spray the outside with soapy water. Bubbles will come up where the leaks are. Normally costs around $100.00 for the test. The dealer can fix the leaks for an additional charge or you can take their report and fix the leaks yourself.
2nd, the soft spot will need to be repaired. It will only get worse if not fixed.
Being in front of the door, you might just fall through if it gets bad enough.
Maintenance on a trailer to prevent leaks and to repair if found is normal. Today I replaced a leaky weather seal around one of my storage hatch doors.

Thank you for your reply.. The guy that we bought it from said he repaired it, but we might just have to do that test just in case..
Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this trailer in particular?

We had a 2004. Our 2002 was replaced under factory warranty. On yahoo groups there is a Colman Caravan group. I started that group when owners didn't fit in any group. We weren't a hybrid. Thanks to that group we found out about the problems and went after our dealers and the manufacture. Some got replacements, many got them repaired at the factory. Our 2004 TT never exhibited any problems. Had it for almost 4 years when we traded it in for our current TT.
Although you've made your purchase (great floor plan, huh) maybe you can get the previous owner exactly what repairs he did.

So we really looked into this trailer online last night and on the yahoo boards and have decided that the best thing for us to do is try and sell it asap! we just bought it fri and we will list it on Mon to try and atleast get or money back.. this is so stressful!!
I guess this is what happens when you dont know what you are doing... I hope when we go but the next trailer it wont be a lemon..
Ill need all of your help, cause I will be asking your advice before we buy one!

bkkalk6....I wouldn't necessarily panic yet. You did just get it. Give it a chance before getting rid of it. I bought a 1999 Keystone Cougar on Ebay back in 2007 with a salvage title. It had a water leak when we bought it and the floor was soft in a spot or 2. But you know what? We were careful with it and used it with success and actually loved it! We sold it for $200 less than we paid for it 3 years later and have now bought a new trailer. I did alot of work on that other trailer and enjoyed it. $5K for a 2003 model is not bad at all. I paid $4000 for the salvage unit back in 2007. The guy that bought from me has taken his wife and dogs out in it plenty of times and never added to my fix and they enjoy the trailer. Give it a chance....doesn't sound like it is literally going to fall apart. You might take it to a RV mechanic and have them look it over...kind of like car mechanics can do for you.
Sorry to be so long winded!
