After searching the forums, and reading all of the advice you gave to me on my first posting and along with all the info i gathered from this website. I put a deposit down on a 2011 KZ Coyote 23cks. The floor plan is very similar to the Roo 23ss and the Jayco 23j that i had initially looked at. After working with RVW. I happened upon a left over 2011 on a well known lot only 10 minutes from me. Tons of good things were said about them once i got asking people. They are replacing the cooktop with a 3 burner top with oven for me, but hopefully i take delivery pretty soon. The oven was the only thing on our wish list that it didnt have. and they agreed to put it in even after price was negotiated. Thank you guys for all your help, i am sure i will be asking for more tips and tricks.

Best floorplan in a hybrid, IMO. Congratulations.

Congrats! Anything close to a 23SS is good by us. Glad to hear you're adding the oven. We use ours almost every trip - warm, home-made cookies on Saturday night, hit-it-on-the-counter bread, frozen lasagna for nasty weather times. Not everyone is crazy about an oven, but plenty are and we couldn't do without it. Sounds like you put together a really good deal and are happy about it. Nice that the dealer is close-by also. We love RVW and it was worth the drive - our local "this is the price" dealer wanted over $4000 more. We can drive quite a few miles for that kind of money. So.....where are you in OH? We lived in Gallipolis, east of Cleveland in Concord Twp and finally in Lima. Hope you don't live in Lima.....sorry to offend anyone, but first chance we headed OUT! Browns or Bengals??? Go Buckeyes?? Make lots of happy camping memories and don't forget Indian Lake - beautiful. For sure make reservations.

Yes wife was really wanting the oven, funny that you mentioned cookies, cause that was her reasoning. We are outside of Dayton, almost to Preble County actually. I am a Bengals fan actually. And yes I have camped at Indian Lake before, it is nice for sure.

Awesome and congrats on the new trailer. I wish our Cub had an oven. I would be sweet if the DW could make some cookies during our camping trip instead of before.

I had MaxxAir vent covers on my previous HTT, and YES they are worth it. When open, the air will circulate even when it's raining. I just bought two for our new HTT and they are easy to install.
Might sound yucky, but if it's raining and you have to go bathroom, it is nice to know you can still open the vent and turn on the fan in there.

As for Camco or Maxxair.......I bought Maxxair because I had a better deal on Amazon. Their ad said: 2 for $31.85 (new)
I'm sure they noticed the mistake cause they changed their ad since then

Congratulations! When we bought our Coyote this summer it was between a 23cks and a 22cts right up to the last minute. We ended up buying the cts which has the same layout as the Roo. I liked the cks with the kitchen towards the front bunk and thought the tv was in a better place than in ours with it above the table. So far we are very happy with the Coyote. So far KZ seams great. Have a blast!

Steve
