I have DN in my house and shop so If I want it in my Motorhome do I have to move a box in there or can I just move the Dishnetwork Card from a working reciever to my reciever in the MH?

A good question. Because we rent our house when we are RV-ing, we need both DN accounts. If we sell our house, it would be interesting to see if we can take the HD receiver and card (even tho it would mean a new antenna, but hey, we'd be able to afford it!) with us. Hope you get some good answers!

the cards are mated to receivers and not interchangable. They will send you a card for the receiver if you do not have one, but you will have to add it to your account. If your receiver is a leased receiver, you are not suppose to remove it from the contract address. They want you to buy a receiver if you are going to put it in your coach. But many who have Dish contracts are purchasing Dish 211k receivers and Tailgater antennas and having the Dish211k turned on and off as needed. Only $8 or $9 a month on top of your normal contract when being used, but you had to spend $499 for the receiver and antenna. But you get High Defination signal with this setup.

The 222 k vip will give you two different chanels at home and will work with the carryout on the road but box will have to be moved. Set it up as a rv account and my rv is stored in my driveway

I have a receiver that stays in the motor home something like $6 a month get the same channels on the road as home. No hassle of moving receiver back and forth.

Same here. Just bought a new receiver to leave in the RV and added it to my home account for $6/mo. Did that thru dishformyrv.com. Quick and easy.

I just ordered another HD DVR from Dish Network using my home account which added up to a total of four receivers. I leave the HD DVR receiver in the motorhome. I also have the bedroom TV with both cable and HD sat coax so when we go off for several months I take one of the house receivers for the MH bedroom. I have one account which is the home account.

i also have dish net. i just bought my own receiver and just activate when camping, when i get back home i just call and suspend service to that receiver. however it must be owned, you cannot suspend service on a LEASED receiver. cost is $7.00 per month.

They sent me a new receiver for the coach free of charge. Told me that I would be expanding/upgrading my service, so I qualified for the free receiver. Cost an additional $6.00 a month on my home bill.
