The Graphics on my mh were all faded,so I had an est to remove and repaint------ $6800.00 well then I got a striper who stripes cars at dealerships,He came to my house measured for the new material, took 2 weeks,he spent 7 hrs preping and installing new graphics.we even changed one color, like new again.$1000.00 parts and labor.Ive got the newest 1999 southwind around.I wish I knew how to put pictures on here.Oh well youll see me going down the road.now for the 32 in flatscreen in the front overhead.

Are there improved materials in the decals? Seems like with all the advances in urethanes and ceramics they could make decals that live as long as paint.

I just put 5 coats of Red Max Pro on my '97 Bounder. The decals (stripes) and the entire coach look good as new. Total cost $7.08.

I think I'll put the other $992.70 in savings.

Ditto on what HTALLEN asked. My '99 Southwind looks like KaKa with the faded graphics. I'd like to see how yours looks and get the info for your striper.

Although I'm in AZ, I'm on the border and wouldn't mind a drive, as long as it's not too far, like anywhere in the SOCAL area.

Hi, my 99 southwind was the pits. everything was faded. Had it painted, all over, and the decals painted, same color. Everything was clear coated, $4500. My neighbors asked if it was new, If I can I'll try to put a picture on this post. If not, if you want to see it email me at kingcharles@sbcglobal.net and I will send before and after pics. charlie in texas, el paso.
I can't get the pics to copy

The black graphics on my formally Florida based Hurricane deformed due to sun and heat. Used a heat gun and a plastic putty knife to remove them. Wiped it down with Acetone to get the remaining glue. Left a faint out line (slightly brighter white under the decals) that I will use as a template to repaint the strip when the weather warms up.

It's pretty easy to get the old stickers off. I used a heat gun that was a bit too hot. Probably a hair dryer would work better. Hardest part so far is picking a color other then black to use.

Almost any large sign company can custom cut the graphics and designs for you on their vinyl cutting machine. Easy to duplicate logos, etc plus you can chose any color that you want. Some of the best vinyls will last 10+ years.
