I need some help with a mess I got my self into with my desktop.I somehow knocked out firefox and I keep getting a pop up saying it crashed and will start up as soon as possible. but I can go to my laptop and all is working just fine. any ideas to clear this up ?I am using IE7 right now and hate it.

Download Firefox 10.0 and reinstall.

firefox 10.0 is what I had, when I click the firefox icon on start up I just get the crash pop up asking to send a report, did that about 5 hrs. ago.

do the control alt delete to open task manager to make sure that it isn't already running. if you see firefox on the list, close it then try again

control panel
programs
uninstall FF

THEN download and install again

As robsouth suggests reinstall (get from my sig). You can download it with IE.

Reboot your PC after the installation.

Restart your Firefox Browser.

thats how I did it, got it back thanks to all for your help
