I have an 09 GMC Sierra 2500HD, 6.0L Vortec, 3.73 rear gear. My 5ver weighs in at just under 10k. I get 8-10 while towing and 15 when not towing

I am recently upgraded and love the solution. 2011 GMC 2500 HD Denali Diesel and 2011 Heartland 40' BigHorn 5th wheel. The new transmission they put in is slick. Ford lured several engineers from GM to build their newly upgraded F250 & F350. You will see a lot of similar features. GMC fuel tank is generous, Ford's is only 24 (or 26) and makes it more difficult to haul distances.

I am getting 11.8 to 12.5 mpg when hauling a big trailer (40'). When unhitched I and leaving the hitch in the truckbed (adds a bit of unecessary weight) I am around 17.6mpg.

Love the truck! Love the trailer!

2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi. Pulling a 2010 Puma 295 BHSS. I get 9 miles to the gallon on the regular highway. Biggest complaint is the small gas tank on the Dodge - Mre power than I could ever use.
