We bought a NEW 2012 Kingsport this past September and the back slideout leaks in the outside back corner. We only noticed the leak because the carpet under the bottom bunk was wet. We also noticed water trickling in through where the bottom bed frame is attched to the wall. However, we can't figure out how the water is getting into the outer slide wall. We've had the dealer in to try to solve the problem twice with no luck. It only leaks when the slide is out. Anyone have any ideas or similar problems??? We love the trailer otherwise and wish we could just fix the leak!!!

I had a different situation but I do know that water can migrate a long distance from where it is getting in and to where it appears. If it is in the interior of a wall or running alond a capping board it can be difficult to see. It could be getting in at the main slide seal area and running along the interior top of the wall and then down and out at the corner. You really need to work to find it before it starts to deteriorate the wood. I would be really on the dealers case about getting it fixed.

My friends new slide leaked on his trailer. His issue was apparently a problem of being unlevel. For some reason when his slide side was slightly higher water migrated inside. Now he just pays more attention to set up of trailer, even in heavy rain it does not leak if slide is properly leveled! Yet if he gets it just a tad high on slide side the leak is back even during light rain. Just a possible cause to check out.

Key thing: water is getting into the outer wall of the slide. This is probably not a slide seal problem and the only way you can cure it by changing the levelness of the trailer is to flip it upside down. Flipping it upside down causes problems with the use of the sinks, toilet, and shower; so I don't recommend that solution (it can also be difficult to open a roof vent).
A number of people have had this problem. To fix it though, we have to understand the construction of your slideout. We need some pictures. Take a look at this thread and you will see what I need and where this is going:
