So we are hittin the road fultime in 3 months.
We are taking 2 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs and one of the cats we aren't worried about.
It's our problem child that concerns us. She likes to go outside and gets a little pissy if she doesn't get to. I was wondering if anybody else has a puddy cat that needs to be outside and how do you let then get their outside time when on the road?

Tie 'em to a very good leash and harness - very tight! walk them out the door. Then blast a portable air-horn at your side (like they use to use at sporting events). If you don't have a new cat skin hat on your head and blood pouring out your ears from the claws, and you're fortunate enough the cat will run back into the camper, the poor cat will never want to go outside again!

Google "cat walking jacket" and you should find a system that's much more secure than a regular harness. Start training to the leash ASAP and associate it with going outside.
In the trailer, if you regularly give treats near the door you will find that kitty will learn to sit in that spot and hope for a snacklet, rather than seeking to run out.

If she just wants to be outside, and not really roam around, you could get one of the collapsible wire dog crates to let her have her "open air" time.

Get a large wire dog crate and put the cat in it outside at your campsites, along with her favorite things.
