I am new with this computer forum stuff so I hope I am placing this in the right place. My problem is locating the water filter on my 2007 Wildwood LE 29RBSS travel trailer. I have looked in the bathroom where the city water comes in, under all the vanities, cabinets, and sinks. I am at a loss.
Reading the articles I have seen on the forums, it is obvious there are many experts here. The true test is if can you help someone as helpless as I am.

Ours is in a small little cabinet below our pantry/wardrobe. It has hinges on the door, but is screwed shut. Took us a while (checking the books) to find it.

It may not have one........
What makes you think it has one from factory? Is it listed in brochure, on an option sheet etc.
Some are aftermarket add-ons.......

Most likely located close to the water pump if you have a whole house filter system. That allows it to filter water from city water connection and your fresh water tank.

In our 322FKS the filter is in the storage compartment with the water hoses. It was not installed when delivered and I have not found a need yet to install it.
Even tho it came with the filter, not installed, I have not used it. The locaton for this filter should be under the kitchen sink area.
Each trailer is different in its' use of the filter. Some are whole trailer and others are just the kitchen and filter water for consumption.

My filter is in the kitchen area under the cabinets behind the drawer cabinet. All the drawers have to be removed to access it which is difficult as it is mounted to the exterior wall.

X2 If you have one it will be under the kitchen sink > just for that faucet or at the pump > whole house.
As Old Biscuit notes it may not have one. Did a previous owner say it did?

Thanks for all the ideas and thoughts. I purchased this RV new, paid extra for a whole house filter, and even filled out the paperwork for the warranty. Obviously it was never installed. I wrote this forum because the dealer had agreed to "locate" it for me for $100.
With the advice and ideas I have received from this forum, I have now traced every inch of tubing, removed panels, taken drawers out, and removed a cabinet over the water pump. No filter.
Buyer "be-aware" in this case.
Thanks again for the help.

Kosmic, submit this counteroffer to the dealer. if he cant find the filter that you paid for and was supposed to be there, then he installs and pays YOU a hundred bucks for your time.
