Our new 5'ver is pretty heavy and when on the highway it'll sway a bit when a truck goes by or crosswind's come in to play. Thinking of selling current truck and buying a dually or convert current truck to one.

What truck do you have? What are your scaled weights?

I can't say my loads are top heavy, but the top is equally heavy as the bottom, and when I load, I load until I'm as tall as a semi. This is where I find advantage to DRW, provided there's a big anti-roll bar under there. They shouldn't be called sway bars, that's not really accurate. They reduce body roll.

Simple answer, yes they are a lot more stable no matter what you are towing.

If the DRW has the same spring spacing and spring rate as the SRW, and the same roll bars, then the DRW is gaining you nothing more than a bit of blow-out protection. In fact, the duals are giving the top of the load more leverage on the springs, actually increasing roll.
If you're going to invoke physics, then be accurate.

04 350 diesel. Not sure about scaled weight but it's not over what it can tow. Guessing 5'ver loaded 11k tops 11.5k
