We want to move up from our Hybrid to a fifth wheel. We want a quad bunkhouse (4 bunk beds - 3 would work) and a private bath (no shower/bath open to the master bedroom). Max length at 35 ft. I know if we buy new there are many choices - but I'd like to know what there is out there used I can shop for. The Sprinter 297FWBHS and Eagle 325BHS both fit the floor plan requirements and are good candidates - just not that many for sale so I'd like to open up the model searches if possible. Anyone know of any other models I can look for? Don't have the truck but will get something to match the trailer instead of vice-versa.

$15-25K price range would be nice

Thanks - in Norcal

Crossroads Cruiser CF31QB. The 2008 - 2011 models all have three bunks plus a jackknife sofa. Private commode with separate shower in the front. Master bedroom with full queen in the back. Ours has the optional half bath in the master bedroom.

I know it's not used, but look at the Open Range 413RLL. It is a quad or maybe even 5 bunk with 2 bathrooms - one in each bedroom. That is what I really want, but until I get some extra $$ from somewhere (lottery, etc.) I will stick with what I have.

It's new, but I had one priced for $38,000 with the MSRP being $56,000. I guess they really needed to sell it.

Is there an age range or price range you are thinking about. We have the Jayco Jay Flight 30.5 BHS. In 2008 they changed names to Eagle Super Light. The Super light have a read quad bunk and a front quad bunk setup.

It appears you have your shortlist. Cougar makes one like you want as well. Why no bathroom in the master bedroom? Most FW master suites have a bathroom in them.

1. Keeps you out of the bedroom if someone is taking a shower - we do a lot of group camping as well as have growing boys.
2. Many have the sink right next to the bed - I simply do not like this - even hate it.
3. Would like to keep the bed time bathroom activities separate from bedroom - bushing teeth or washing hands after using bathroom - so as to lessen any possible disturbances (already sleeping, maybe in bed but not sleeping yet).

The newer models are going back to the private bath plan so i think it was a trend that has ran its course. Of course some people like it I guess.

Ours has a second bathroom for the kids (no shower, though). As far as watching my wife brush her teeth; it has never bothered me too much.

Saw a couple of Montanas today with quad bunks in their own rear room, with its own half bath and with a separate bath from the MB (which I like, too). Think they exist in 2010-2011 model years.

That was our list too, and we ended up with a Heartland Greystone 33CK. It may be a touch longer than you want at 38' (bumper to pin), from my own measurements.

There are three bunks, not four, because it has an outside kitchen. The fourth bunk is a trundle bed so it still accommodates four. And having a slide-out, the bunk room is large.
