I just got the results back from my alignment on my p30 chassis and they wrote at the bottom of the before and after results.Caster to max allowance-Will need a arm/control arm fabrication made to achive setting as speced by supersteer.I was wonting to align it to supersteer specs with 5 and 6 degrees caster since i just installed their bell crank. They could only give me 3 5/8 left side and 4 1/4 right side.Any suggestions would be appriciated.

Find a different alignment shop.
Your rig may need new upper control arm bushings. They should have called and asked about putting them in.

I don't tbeleive a centering device would help.
You could call Henderson Lineup, makers of the Super Steer bell cranks and ask them.

Henderson said they usually put these devices on when they run out of room to add caster.

The centering devices, steer-safe etc can mask the real problem, not fix it.

Agree with above try a different shop, preferably a truck shop or at least a shop that is used to heavy vehicles.

I took it to wingfoot,I think they deal with big trucks. The only other place i know of is spring service and alignment co.In the area i live in charlotte nc.I had an alignment done their before. They cant get me in for a week or two but maybe its worth the wait to see what they say.I here of a procedure called offsetting the bushings. Is this what they would have to do.

From my experience with a Ford E450 Class C more caster is good for better/best high speed stability.
