One of our TC forum members is on his way home after having his wife in treatment in Nebraska... they stayed in the hospitals treatment center for 3 months. If I did that my Medicare and my suplimental insyrance would cover it. Have you checked the the medical facility to see if that is possible or if they have suggestions about your RV?
Best of luck to you... it's a long way out there and traffic is horriblewhen you are in the area.

Depending what time you need to get into the Oakland area will affect the time quite a bit. If you don't have to go during rush hour say before 6am or after 9am. Lke Del Valle regional park outside of livermore is very nice and peaceful especially during midweek.

You might want to try this one. It is in Redwood City with close access to the Dumbarton Bridge which will connect you to I-880 and go directly to Oakland. They just rebuilt the RV Park section and I have driven through it several times and there are alot of nice MH's there. The Trailer park could use some work, but have never heard of a problem there. They have a web-site that you can check out.
