Weber does not set their prices, the retailers do.

That is just hard to believe when you search it on the internet and 50 places all have it for $179 and none less and few more.

Weber provides a price recommendation, the retailer can sell for whatever price he can demand; some are higher, some are lower.

Amazon has them for $159.

Have had a 200 Weber for several years and been very pleased. Had a regulator go bad, called Weber to buy one and they replaced it under warrantee at 2 years. Great customer service and good product.
Bought a 120 for travels last week at Lowes - $149.

Hi All.

The best times to try and buy anything cheaper from Home Depot or Lowes, is at the end of a Season. As both of them do not have any storage areas to keep anying, period. If you can catch the sales at the right time, both make almost all of the Season Change items marked down to at least 50% or lower. I bought a really nice covered BBQ at Lowes, but it wasn't on sale. But it is a Beauty, a Stainless Steel BBQ, that is extreamly well built and a great product. I added a Themonitor to ours so I know exactely what the inside temps is. I only paid less the $6 dollars for the Thermo, and only $49.00 for the Stainless Steel BBQ, with Folding Legs. Been using ours for several years, and works great, and still looks brand new. Sorry, at the moment I can't remember the name of it. But if someone really wants to know, I can go look later on. But a lot of items in both Home Depot and Lowes change all the time, so it may not even be availible any longer. Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill

Could you please give me a link to that. The only thing I found on Amazon was $179 with free ship or $159 with $28 ship and not eligible for free Prime shipping. Thanx

Our local Ace Hardware puts them on special a couple of times a year, usually about $30 less than usual.

If you have a Lowes near you they are $159 there and you would not have to pay shipping.

None of our Lowe's have grilles yet. They are still trying to get rid of the snow shovels, snow blowers and salt.
