The winter here is too sweet but the sky stayed grey dark with no rain. But yesterday the weather was clear, so I take one hour to make some pictures in my area, hope you will like it. At this season, in one hour, really, the sky light vary so much that landscapes are changed.

Seaside (la Manche, oh sorry Steve : the Channel ! )

Special dedicate to Mr and Mrs Sleepy, the Gatteville Light house, the second highest(75 m ) light house in France (maybe in Europe) after "la Jument" in Bretagne (Britanny)

Gatteville, seaside

Gatteville, old chapel devoted to the sailors lost at sea

Campaign Norman in winter light.

Planting of carrots, protected against frost, but we did not have frost this winter, meteorologist say that winter is coming for the next week with temperature under 0°C the night only !

Planting of beetroots intended for the stock (Paulette if you read you have your answer )

Barfleur harbor, from this Harbor in 1066 (if I remember my studies...)Guillaume the conqueror Duke of Normandy left to the conquest of England

hope you enjoy.

Weymard,
All of the pictures are very beautiful, even the carrot field! But I especially like Barfleur Harbor. It gives me a view into the history of Normandy and the connection to the English throne in 1002. I read a book recently titled "The Forever Queen." I highly recommend it! Here is a link to a summary of the true story of Queen Emma of Normandy who becomes the Forever Queen of England.

Weymard, Thanks again for posting, I can't wait for you to post photos from Europe with a Truck Camper on your Monster Sized Truck, and enjoying the best of what Europe has to offer.

Been in that area and thanks for posting. I loved it there, took the train from Paris and then buses here and there. Thanks so much.
