Hi,

Lucky you! You would probably have needed to upgrade trucks to a medium duty or something with that MS fifth wheel!

Elite Suites would be #1 on my wish list too. Though they fall short of what I'd consider a full time unit.

For an ideal full time unit I'd want:
All residential appliances
Kitchen sink with 9" depth
Television/computer monitor w/office
No carpet
IKEA kitchen cabinets

And something that really bugs me is the overhead storage over the rear window. It forces 25% of the rear window down behind the couch. Why not eleminate the overhead storage, raise the window so you can see out without bending over and have a built in seat in the rear of the camper with stowage under that? Even my DW at 5'3" would like that 'cause she can't reach the overhead storage anyway.

Oh well, I guess the "ideal" varies from person to person.

We saw the same 5'er. Ya got good taste. We want an Elite Suites but we'd have to buy a bigger truck to tow it. Just don't have that kind of money this close to retirement. Like you, I keep buying those lottery tickets.

Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!

We did the Tampa show and in the end i'm finding it hard to consider the cost of a new rig when there basically exactly what i own now, aside from the sudden rash of front living room lay-outs there's nothing new under the sun to warrant me to part with a big wad of cash that i can re-invest into my baby and keep her the "Bell of the ball" me and Frau Blücher think she is now.

That's why I avoid RV shows and boat shows. I always get invited by friends looking to buy and they end up not buying and I do!

Darn it. Wish we could have gone, but we're stuck near St Louis until next Friday. Then it's back to Georgia waiting for new assignment.

Assuming it was from Southern RV in Jonesboro. Maybe we can swing down there if we're in N.GA for awhile. Since they lost Teton and became Suite dealers, they always seem to have a good selection.
