Something is not making sense. My first impression was that it was a reasonable price, with the ifs, as I mentioned, but others thought it was high based on recent information they had. Our pricing experience is older, as we bought our 07 C190P in Oct of 08 for $58K new (it was the new style and with most every option). It listed for a bit over $77K. His percent off wasn't as large, but still reasonable, and I based my opinion on amount off of MSRP.
What is not making sense is the retail price of $107K, which is more in the range of a 210, not 190. I couldn't find any 190 listed at over $100K, and most were in the mid $90s or lower. That would surely explain the high selling price issues that have been brought up. If the MSRP is jacked up, a big discount still leaves you too high. If the retail were $95K and you used the old reference (when we bought) of 18% off being a good deal, you would be at about $78K and then would take off the rebate of $2500 and be closer to $75K.

I am not really up on current pricing, but, if you have not made this deal yet, my suggestion is to pay attention to what people are writing here. $83,700 with rebate and a trade-in for a 190 sounds to me like a lot. And, you said "out the door," but if you are buying this in Oregon, there is no sales tax, and title and plates are pretty low.
Since you are asking, my advice is slow down. If this is a certain dealer in Oregon where I shopped a few years back, their "listed prices" were made up--set at their discretion. Anyone know if MSRP pricing now applies to RVs like it does to cars? It didn't when I bought mine.
Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.

The last two posters hit the nail on the head. These "LIST" prices are inflated and an increase of $30,000 in three years is ridiculous. They are after your cash!A better deal can probably be made with a little hesitation on your part.

This discussion is one of the reasons I never tell anyone what I've paid for something. My motto must be: "Buy high - sell cheap" and I've discovered it's really NOT fun when someone points out how you could have bought it cheaper. And it will ALWAYS happen!

I understand what is being said, that the list price is high. I did some checking on line, and I found others running $93 to $97, but then what would they give me for my trade and these guys are 250 to 500 miles away. So here's the deal, they are paying off my trade ($12,200) and retail it is only worth $10,000. I am giving them $5000 cash and they get the $2,500 factory rebate. I finance $83,700. I thought I would be lucky to get $8,000 for my trade and I would have to make up the rest. Overall, I am getting rid of my TT, along with the $2,500 rebate (which really isn't mine) - they gave me, allowed me and paid off the TT $30,000. I give them $5,000 and finance $83,700. But then maybe it's best to ask if I did good or bad.

With your trade involved,my opinion,(for what it's worth),is that you probably did ok,going from the original list that you quoted. With a few days of going back and forth, you might have shaved off a small amount, but who knows. If you got what you wanted, and are happy, that's all that matters in the long run.We all have probably paid too much somewhere down the line, that's just part of the game.I have been thru this many times, and lost lots of money in trades and such,so don't feel bad.You got a new RV that hopefully will bring you many happy memories in the future. My only gripe with these Class B manufacturers is the super high list price of new RV'S in a declining economy.Congrats on the new RV and ENJOY IT...

OK - just to be clear - they are taking your trade TT and paying off the $12,200 that you still owe on it, but not giving you anything in cash for the TT. And you are paying $5,000 plus financing an additional $$83,700 - which is a total sales price after rebate of $88,700. When he sells your TT he will get $10,000 so in effect he has given you a price of $86,500 (before rebate $89,000) for the Roadtrek. If you could sell the TT on your own for $10,000, pay off the remaining $2,200 and call the cash made from the sale that you owe to the bank on the TT, you would be walking into a dealer with the same situation as you are in right now with most likely a lower sales price on the Roadtrek.
When we were buying just about a year ago, we went to three RT dealers - each was over 200 miles away from us. We got prices from all three. Each time we sat down with a dealer we went down the Roadtrek order sheet and checked off the options that we wanted. He then took that sheet added up what would be considered the list price and then started tapping away on his calculator - three dealers, same process. Each came up with a different "best" selling price. We took the lowest price and walked back into the dealer (after another 200 mile trip each way) that we liked best out of the three. I showed him the price that I could buy it for and he tapped some more on his calculator and said "OK, if you want it for that price it is yours." This was for a new RT that had to be made at the factory. And we bought it from him. I will not say what we paid then - for what your dealer is telling you he has to move out of his lot - but it was more than $8,000 less than what you are paying. We had no trade in. We had not owned an RV before. There was no rebate when we purchased.
If the deal is done, forget it and enjoy your new RT. If it is still open, do some shopping and do some haggling. If you had not asked, I would never say that the deal could be better, but you asked.
My parting advice. Go over that Roadtrek with a fine toothed comb before you take delivery and make sure everything is exactly as it should be. In 2011 the factory got a little sloppy in assembly. Make sure everything works and everything was connected properly. Do this before you finalize payment and take the keys. Make sure the dealer fixes anything that needs to be put right. Roadtrek has a good reputation but as I say, things must have gotten a little lax this past year, particularly in allowing units to leave the factory without checking that all was as it should be.

Congratulations on your new Roadtrek! You’re gone to love that RT, I love my Popular 190, 2003.
The price you paid is not better in Canada. If you are satisfied with the price that you paid, you did ok. You will enjoy.

Thanks all. Yes we love it and that was from just driving it home (130 miles). But tomorrow (2/2) we are going on a short road trip to Longview, WA to see my father-in-law and then on the our daughter's in Wenatachee, WA for the week-end. Our diesel Excursion gets better mileage, but with gas being .50/.60 a gallon less than diesel, the RT is cheaper, with our own bed and more fun. We were lucky the RT was hauled in, most are driven in and have 2,000/3,000 miles on them, ours had 306 miles on it. Yea we do love it.

The bottom line is that if you love the RT and are satified with the price then it is a good deal. We love ours and I'm sure you will too. Many happy miles to you.
