Somehow it was determined that one of the waste tanks had to be 30gallons. Don't understand that. Then, rather than reinvent the wheel the decision was made to imply use the same size tank for the other effluent tank.

Whoa! I miss seeing how "tying the tanks together" can be anything but a BAD IDEA. All it takes is one time for the tank(s) to overflow, leaving you with a mixture of BAD STUFF backed up into the shower well.

ditto here except it is a design to add liquids to the black water tank to prevent mountains.
