"Used Victoria" it's basically like Craigslist. We (husband) created a link to lots of photos of the trailer. It was sold within 2 hours of being posted.

Ran an ad on a regional FREE AD site...Southeast Texas.com. Market was not great. The unit was sold and gone in less than a week.
Given the economic situation today, my last choice would be to leave it somewhere on consignment. Do a search at this site for "unhappy campers" who have been put in difficult positions due to unscrupulous business owners.

You can't beat eBay or Craig'slist for the number of potential buyers that will see your RV. There are people that will list your RV on those sites for a fee. The main thing is that it has to be priced to sell. You will be competing against others so your price needs to on the low end of what everyone else is asking. I've sold RV's on Craig'slist and Classic cars on eBay and have always been happy with the quick results.
I know of no consignment place that can give you the exposure that eBay and Craig'slist will. The consignment dealers are known by many RV owners, who also know current sales prices whereas eBay and Craig'slist will attract current RV owners, and new buyers, that are getting into the RV ownership and are not familiar with the usual consignment dealers. They are your best chance to get a higher price.

I believe your right on most of this however, I don't think you need to under sell your rig unless it's in bad shape. My toyhauler was listed and sold for more than a similar rig listing price. Mine was in like new if not better shape then new... Remember this is a very large purchase for most people and a very clean well taken care of vehicle is worth more..

I have a 'magic' place I park cars and one RV when trying to sell them. I have sold 5 cars, and the RV this way, with a For Sale sign.
I did place the add in RV Trader (Could still show, as I find they really do not remove items as quick as they should. It was still in, after three requests by me to remove... Have not looked for awhile.)
I always detail anything for sale. I also have a comment about 'full maint records available'. If something is wrong, I fix it. I always price between low and high retail, and that puts quite a bit of cash in my pocket vs trade in values. The last thing I do, is insist on meeting at AAA, for transfer of title. I pay CaliKornia smog check, after receiving a holding down that is refundable only if smog has a problem.
Best of luck, hope you have a magic street area to park too in your area too !!
