Consider a used Phoenix Cruiser. They offer a rear queen bed floorplan, and a rear double bed floor plan.

There is a used 2005 rear queen bed with under 2000 miles (yes just 1750 miles) located at a dealer just north of Denver, CO. CLICK HERE to watch a video tour. CLICK HERE to see some real nice pictures of it with lots of details.

Phoenix Cruisers are a little scaled down compared to typical motor homes, making them more friendly to drive yet offering full ammenities and are quality made. Their over-all height is nearly 1.5 feet lower than a typical C, resulting in a stronger house and is less influenced by cross winds and such. You could check them out much better HERE We own their model 2350 as shown in my signature. Phoenix Cruisers also hold up very nicely against water leakage over the years.

Try to avoid anything with cab over windows in the front or sides. They are a major source of leaks. In the newer model years 2009 and up most manufactures have done away with them. My pick would be the Winnebago or Itasca. Jayco is also a very good quality unit.

We really like our 2011 Coachmen Concord. The only major issue we have had is the A/C. It was really hot this past summer in Texas and it was hard to cool during the day. We have already had the 13,000 btu unit changed out for the 15,000 btu unit, so we are hoping it will help. Other than that and some little things the dealer has taken care of, we really like it. It is easy to drive and easy to set up. We have one slide in the living area. The model with 2 slides had NO counter space in the kitchen.

We own a Phoenix Cruiser 2551 and are in St. Petersburg. If you are interested in seeing our rig please email me.

We would recommend it for those with our same needs. There were three elements in our choice, there had to be a sleeping space that was not required to be used for other purposes. The vehicle could not seem to be top heavy and it had to no more than 94 inches wide -- it is 93 inches and that 7" narrower than some rigs makes a big difference when you are between two semi at 65 MPH on a windy day. I thin the shape of side walls helps too. We have yet to fill up the storage

The result is that we find that the PC rides significantly better on the road than the box motor homes we rented. see our blog site at ourphoenixcruiserrv.com for more information on our vehicle.

Triple E

Our Triple E is great. I have no idea if new ones are as good as Mobi, but I would look at another one if we were going to buy new.

Triple E Class Cs have double pane windows, which are great for both hot and cold weather camping.
