I have a KZ Coyote TT. Even though I am plugged into 110V shore power, my 12 volt battery discharges. I suspect this is a faulty inverter. Am I correct and what might a new inverter cost (parts and labor)?
Thanks for your help.
Bob

i was haveing the the same problem with my VR1 and it ended up being a blown fuse. i would also bring the battery to an auto parts store and have them test it before messing with the converter.

PPL has them listed for $200-$300 depending on what size you need.

I think you are referring to your converter rather than inverter..
Before you replace it, check a couple of things.

There might be a fuse on the front panel of the converter, also the GFI that supplies the converter may have tripped or be faulty.

Are your 12V lights dimming?

Thanks for the prompt responses. The 12V battery checks out at 12.7V when fully charged. All fuzes are good and the GFI is OK. Based on responses so far sounds like a faulty converter.

What is the voltage at the output of the converter?

It's pretty easy to test the converter. Disconnect the battery negative lead, plug in the RV to 120 volt AC power and measure the voltage across the positive and negative leads AT the converter. No voltage means bad converter provided you don't have something simple like a tripped breaker. The reason you need to disconnect the battery lead is so you don't end up measuring the battery voltage instead of the converter output. New converters can run anywhere from $200.00 and up to whatever you want to spend. Get a really cheap one and you end up with a "really cheap one"
