While on our way to Las Vegas from Oklahoma this week, we stopped at KIVA AOK RV Park in Tucumcari, NM. There were many empty sites and we pretty well had the place to ourselves. The price was only $20 if you are members of nearly any RV club, which included full hookups, cable tv, and wifi that worked great. The new owners were very friendly and mentioned how it has been a tough winter for them. The park was nothing extra fancy, but is clean and safe for overnight or extended stays. If you are in the area, we recommend stopping there, and I know that they would appreciate the business. Just thought I would pass this on to help the traveling RVers and the park owners.

I found this RV park in Tucumcari NM, are you sure you have the right town? I know where Holbrook AZ is, but not Holbrook NM.

Good to know since we travel that part of I-40 often. When you get a chance, write a review on RvParkReviews.com for those that miss reading this post.

Also appreciate the info. We travel this route every year returning from Vancouver Island, and usually stop in Tucumcari.

If you can, Tucumcari is worth a little time. Take the driving tour around town to see the murals on the buildings, visit the Dinosaur foundry and wind generator at the community college (the students we met love giving the tours), visit the museum and check out the old neon signs and diners on Historic Route 66.
