Yep. Stayed at both. Both are nice. Ft Collins KOA was a little pricy I thought. Was $49.00 per night back in Sept. Very easy access to Poudre Canyon on up to Cameron Pass if you want to see some moose. Riverside in Loveland is nice with easy access to Big Thompson Canyon and Estes Park or Rocky Mtn National Park. Boyd Lake State Park is nice but is on the east side of Loveland and will be further away from the sight seeing. Enjoy your trip.

I have to agree with these comments as we have also stayed at both over the years. In fact we stayed at Lakeside when it first opened and was not a KOA. Pads are paved, roads are gravel. Good amenities but is a bit pricy as mentioned. We have been staying at Riverside annually for many years as it is an older campground. Roads and sites are gravel and there are lots of mature trees which have been trimed in recent years to open up the views a bit. Prices are reasonable and they do offer some discounts, ie Passport America, Good Sam, etc.
Both are close to many activities, shopping, resturants, sight seeing, etc. It just depends on your priorities. Enjoy!!!
