Since we had the Nigara that had the works including a bathroom and went to a full paint TT, the maintenance may be subjective. Enjoy!

don't know about the mattress in the pop up but the mattresses in TT are the worst thing since the great flood. get a foam top for it and sleep much better and you won't wake up with a sore back.

On the new F150 with TP they come with a brake controller built in. My tow capacity is 11100 and trailers max are about 8600 so should be fine. Is it me or does one company make all these trailer and just rebrand them. Heartland northtrail 25RSDS is a carbon copy of a dutchman kodiac 240KSSL.

You have a box with limited places you can arrange areas and keep it balanced over the wheels. They all have the basic required features, stove, refrigerator, holding tanks, etc. It limits the layout.

I am a "Tim the Toolman" type! Ahrr! Ahrr! And tend to over design and over powering things. Just watch your truck cargo capacity. With the camper attached you will be down to around 800# remaining on the truck and keep the gear in the camper distributed you should be ok.

Unless you have the max trailer towing package or HD payload package, the tow rating is not 11k pounds. Tow ratings are somewhat unimportant for RVing with a half ton and a family. There may not be enough payload on the regular F-150s for up to 1200 pounds of hitch weight.

Based on the numbers you gave, you've got plenty of truck for towing. A WDH with sway control is, IMHO, a must. As an example an Equalizer 10,000/1,000 would be fine. As noted by others, you'll have to watch your truck's payload rating...fuel, cargo, passenger weights and the trailer tongue weight all adds-up pretty quickly.

Should be good with the max trailer towing package. Check the yellow tire and loading sticker for your actual payload as equipped. If you have about 1700+, go for it.

Reese 1200 or Equal-i-zer 1000 would be good.
