Wanting to protect the newly rewired rig from electrical shoreline problems at campgrounds such as low voltage, miswiring etc. Which one is better? Or is there another option?
This one? 30 Amp Surge Guard Portable Model

or this one?
Voltage Regulator 30 Amp

Jeet yet? Keep on rollin'!

Two different devices.......two different applications
One is a portable SURGE protector......tests for open neutral, reverse polarity, mis-wired outlet, trips on high & low voltage with auto reset.
The other is a BOOSTER.....will boost low voltage by 10%

I use a Surge protector.

Many CG's will not allow booster boxes.

There are several options
Do you want portable or hard mount?
Do you want a remote status indicator?
Do you want a frequency sensitive unit?
Do you need an autoformer?

For me the Progressive Industries hard mount unit fit my needs

Why don't they allow boosters? Does it effect the CG electrical system?

We have both the EMS 30A and 50A (don't ask) and they have worked well for years. They repaired the 3 y/o old 30A for free. We have the portable which easily chains to the CG pedestal post.
