I am in the process of having my TV's upgraded to LED TV's. I did not do a search since I have a marginal Internet.
Does a digital tuner allow you to receive analog signals?
I ask because I noticed that at least one small LG TV has both a NTSC tuner and a Digital tuner.
Thank you

I don't believe there are any analog signals left.

Per Wikipedia..."In the United States a small number of short-range local and TV relay stations continue to broadcast NTSC, as the FCC allows." Also in the rest of the world NTSC is still in some countries.

Thank you,
Does a digital tuner allow you to receive these few remaining signals?
They are installing the Winegard 3005 TRAV'LER as I type.

Tough question to find an answer to. I couldn't even find a listing of where analog still exists. Are you pretty sure you're going to be in that situation?

Low-powered stations were exempt from the requirement to switch to digital. That includes a lot of repeaters.
This page contains a link to an Excel spreadsheet that contains a list of all of the licensed low-powere stations in 2009. I have no idea how accurate it is now.

No I am not sure. They are building the cabinets to fit the TV's, so I only have one shot at this and do no want to make a mistake. I am leaning, at the recommendation of the facility, of purchasing another Samsung. I purchased a Samsung 32D5000 LED 1080P yesterday for the front. I need a 22 inch for the bedroom, Samsung UN22D5010NF, UN22D5000NF or a LG 22LV2500. I can't see any difference between the two Samsung's other than one has a white cabinet.

Yah.. I don't think I'd be too concerned. Analog is near death and the chances you'd actually need that functionality would seem to be very small.

Analog signals are still going strong, just not being pumped out through the air. Most cable companies still use analog signals for their basic channels, that way users don't need the converter boxes.
