It seems we can't get a break from the tornado's. Central Al. had tornado's last night. Several dead and much damage. I live in N.E. Al. We were awaken around 2:00 a.m. with our noaa radio blasting a warning. Our cell phone and home phones are registered for a call when warnings are issued, they each were ringing and our local siren going off with a tornado warning. Jumped out of bed turned on tv, we had two rotations heading toward our area. Luckly it was reduced to straight line winds, no damage. Everyone has learned to take these warnings very serious, since our tremendous damage last year. We need some cold weather, too early for all these warm temps, after all this is Jan.

I have to say it's much to early for this type of weather to be going on. Sure glad everything turned out OK for you and can only hope it stays that way.

I am so glad that when we did our last addition on the house, I added a tornado room.

I just made reservations for an RV Park E of Birmingham, crossing my fingers that they were still standing. The lady said they had no power and a lot of cleanup ahead; but the worst of the storms missed them. Taking shelter from tornadoes is NOT something you expect the 4th week of January.
