I swung the gates open a week ago before the snow hit. The snowplow guy put about 3 feet up on the shoulder. The rest is about 18 inches deep to the trailer. It might take a couple more weeks before there is a decent thaw to head south. Today was actually very pleasant with the temperature going from 15 to 36 degrees full sunshine and no wind.

One of the reasons we head south in October.
I don't like cold & I don't like that white stuff.

75 degrees here today.

30-40 minutes with a good 2 stage snow thrower and you would be ready to hook up and pull out. I've been there and have 150' from rear of trailer to the road to clean out. Randu

Looks like the cocaine plane must have dropped a few bundles.

I don't miss that white stuff at all.

We are in Pharr, Texas until the first of March. We went swimming yesterday while it was 84 degrees.

I've gotten in the habit of backing under the trailer when we're getting a big dumping-works out very well because I don't get snow under the front of the trailer and I usually pull the truck out when I plow.

A few times when planning on taking off shortly after a snow I hook up and move the truck and trailer around a little when I'm plowing to gain a little room around my unit for packing...I DO NOT SHOVEL!

As kids we spent two weeks in Florida in a tent because our 'big' 18' trailer was behind a snow bank at home that didn't melt until almost may!...my fiver does not get plowed in!

"Very light snow is known to occur at high latitudes on Mars. A "snow" of hydrocarbons is also theorized to occur on Saturn's moon Titan.

I dont like snow at all, let alone on Mars or Saturn.

Substantial snowfall can disrupt public infrastructure and services, slowing human activity even in regions that are accustomed to such weather.

Air and ground transport may be greatly inhibited or shut down entirely.

Populations living in snow-prone areas have developed various ways to travel across the snow, such as skis, snowshoes, and sleds pulled by horses, dogs, or other animals and later, snowmobiles.

Basic utilities such as electricity, telephone lines, and gas supply can also fail. In addition, snow can make roads much harder to travel and vehicles attempting to use them can easily become stuck.

Please point out the "good" things in that part !
