Some one broke into the storage lot on the north end of town prying doors open to steal 30 lcd tv's 10K worth of tools and a trailer. The lot on the south side where mine is at did not get hit. Not good to close for comfort. Stuff like this is rare around here.

Using dead bolt locks might have saved the televisions but would probably have resulted in greater damage to the RV doors. Problem is EVERYONE knows what kind of things are found inside and they also know that NOBODY is ever home. It is a GOOD case arguing against extra locks etc. on storage compartments because it sure would encourage trash like those folks to just take out a hammer and bust in through the wall to get what's stored inside.

That time of year again. This morning I had coffee with my uniform friends who I worked with prior to retirement. They were busy taking car Larcenies from Motel parking lots. I have a Doberman who likes to stay in my truck even when I'm not in it. I'd sure like to see the expression on a face if they attempted to gain entry in my truck with her in the back seat.
