First time using the Tyvek cover and just got a nice hole in the corner after first snow fall and ice. I did not over tighten the straps as recommended. But now that I have a hole - 3-4 inches, any suggestions on how to fix while still covering MH? Is duct tape ok for now until cover comes off and I can sew back together? Any ideas would be great.

Shredded mine after less than four months on the fiver. Took it off and called the manufacturer, they shipped me a new one free under warranty. Only cost me about ten dollars for the return of the stuff they wanted to prove I owned one.

I repaired mine with duct tape. I didn't get around to repairing it properly. This is the second winter for the tape. It works just fine, but it doesn't look the greatest. Tape it now to minimize the damage to the cover if the wind kicks up.

our cover also had holes the first winter of use despite the towels we wrapped around the awning hardware as a precaution. those holes got bigger as we didn't think of duct tape and now the whole seam from cab back to rear has opened up. what a joke. don't have the money to take for repairs--i'll try and mend when the DH takes it down. i realize it's a lot of material, but for that kind of money these things are garbage.

I've got a couple of duct taped repairs that are into their 3rd winter. I put the duct tape both inside and out, to make the repair. It adds a measure of thickness and durability.
