Planning on spending a couple of months in Windsor area this summer. Can someone give me a list of campgrounds in the area and how far they are from the bridge to U.S. Thanks

I guess it all depends upon the type of camping you enjoy most....WildwoodResort is a nice clean place, couple of pools, golf course, but you are camping on a cement pad. Lots of seasonal sites....know a few people who are seasonal, and enjoy it. Windsor Campround is close by, if you don't mind the trucks on the 401. Myself, i prefer nature, thats why i highly recommend Wheatley Provincial Park.... i don't like Subdivision Camping, but thats just me. Wheatly is about 45 minutes from the bridge, give or take 10- 15 minutes or so. It's close by to Pointe Pelee and other attractions too. The staff is 2nd to none, a great group of people who make sure your stay is a good one....also, keep one thing in mind, the DRIC highway construction will be in full swing by summer, so expect huge dalays
