Sold the Allegro Bus this week after 5 months of advertising, answering e-mails, phone calls, and a few actual visits. Seems not too many folks in the market for a $125K 38' bus these days. The plan all along has been to sell the Bus ( our 3rd Class A diesel pusher) and purchase a Sprinter chassis class B. I don't want to get into brand x vs brand Y vs brand Z. I simply want to say that the Winnebago ERA met our needs so that's what we bought. Picked it up on Tuesday at a Dealer 1 mile from the Winnebago plant that had exactly what we picked out last Aug. Drove it 200 miles home from the dealership in very cold weather and can't tell you how pleased I am with the way it drives, runs and rides. We've owned 10 RV's over the past 25 years so we know that new ownership bliss is quickly replaced by the typical frustrations of fixing problems when you purchase a brand new motorhome. That's ok, we're used to it and understand it goes with the territory. As time goes on, hopefully I can give an unbiased opinion on the quality/reliability of the ERA, I look forward to owning, driving, and camping in our new unit!

Congratulations,

I recommend that if you haven't already, join the Yahoo View/Navion group which is very conversant with Sprinters and Winnebago... very knowledgeable group even though most of the members own Class C RVs.
