I cannot believe how many duplicate posts there has been in the last week or so. Seems this is not limited to newbies ( which i can understand) But a lot of "senior" members are posting in multiple places. What gives? Did we all get a lobotomy for Christmas? Or did I miss out on something?

So? This would be a pretty boring place if people didn't post.

Well, I dunno. I don't mind double posts. I never read the 5er section, so If someone posts in the 5er and TT I don't mind so much.

This has been the rule for many, many years. Select the one forum in which your topic is a 'best fit'. If your topic pertains to several forums it belongs in "General Rving Issues"

I too know the rules about double posting, but there are some topics that are well suited for several forums. I think some arent sure where the "best" fit is and/or change their mind after not seeing any replies.

I also think there are some topics that belong in a higher level category as they fit every forum such as batteries, tires, brake controllers. Perhaps these should be in the "General RVing forum".

Some topics are not limited to 5th wheels, trailers, Tow Vehicles but might apply to all. I also think some who dont visit other forums may use "their" (RV type category) to solicit replies.

Some may be caused by the sequence the forums are listed in the Main forum listing or it might be caused by too many sections.

I personally rarely visit the Truck Camper or any of the Class A/B/C forums but Im sure there are lots of posts there that I could learn from as well.

My wife used to give me $1.00 each workday for lunch. After a long argument, I won. Now she gives me $5.00 every Monday.

If one wants more information, it then behooves that person to visit other forums. We simply are not going to replicate topics in multiple forums. As the rule states, a member has the option of requesting permission for exceptions.

Donn,

Sometimes ones computer or a combo with the server on the multiple ways of getting to this forum, one accidentally double/triple/quad+ posts. Its happened to me a few times!

I do think some are on purpose, but many are not.
