I am a current owner of a 2010 Mountaineer and have been happy, saw that they have a new 375 flf or front livingroom,it is a little different than the Montana's 3750fl.I was wondering if anyone has seen one at a show yet and if so how much was the price. Can't find one on rvtrader or anywhere else. Was wondering and interested in it.Does anyone know why the front living room fvers all seem to be short on outside storage, would think that they are on the basic same frame as any other fver.Just wondering why that would be.

It looks like they tried to copy the Dutchmen Komfort and Infinity. I have a Komfort 3530 bunk house but I saw these two units (komfort/Infinity) in Tampa last weekend and LOVED them. I also saw the Montana front living room and it just didn't live up to the Komfort/Infinity version. The front "living area" in the Montana was much smaller and gave me a claustophobic feeling. Also, at least in the Montana version, the refrigerator isn't in the slide room giving the kitchen a very "choppy" feel. The exterior storage was terrible, I MAYBE could fit my golf bag in there. The Dutchmen storage area was HUGE in comparison. Just my .02 as a Dutchmen owner but I would reccomend you look at the Komfort or Infinity before making your decision.

They seem to recycle that floor plan every 5 to 6 years. Cedar Creek had one back in 2005. Did not sell well then. Probably wont sell well this time around.

I think they figured out that people replace their RV every few years and that people that bought them last time are ready for a new RV.

wildwood32,

I also have a 2010 Mountaineer and went on the front living room model at the Tampa Super Show last Friday. I didn't note the price, but I liked the layout. One thing they did was put a leather swivel recliner in the LR between the opposing sofas. It cluttered up an otherwise roomy LR. As to the small basement storage, that's a mystery.

Here's why you lose basement storage (the basement, of course, is underneath the front bedroom or front LR):

In front bedroom units, the bed slide mechanism is on top of the floor, underneath the bed. This is possible, since most of the bed is still in the room when the slide is out and there is not much weight on the slide when out. Also, the slide out doesn't have to be too tall.

In front LR models, you have have tall, opposing slides that carry substantial weight and the slide rails/mechanisms have to be under the floor. Since the basement is underneath, you will lose some of that space to the mechanisms.

Now that makes all the sense in the world.I never thought of that.Thanks.Still looking for a general price on it.

Just got home from the Toronto RV show where we looked at the Mountaineer 5 wheel with the front living room and also Komfort & Infiniti's.

The Mountaineer actually has more storage in the rear slide under the bed which folks might not have noticed. I found it on my 6th look at the unit, there are things I like in both, the Komfort was 7 grand more than the Mountaineer and the Infiniti was 14 grand more. The Komfort had a double side by side fridge but didn't have an outsided TV & DVD/Stereo system that the Mountaineer had, the Mountaineer had hydraulic slides the Komfort electrics, the Komfort had just a little more storage upfront but lacked the extra rear storage. there were plus's and minus's to both but dollar for dollar the Mountaineer was a better value at the pricing. It also had a King Bed which was really a bonus in my view....

The Komfort was $56900
The Infiniti was $63900
