I have opportunity to buy a 3 year old Honda EU200i, at $450, maybe 2.

The unit has never been opened, used, turned on, etc....sealed in box.

Excess inventory at a company, getting rid of stock.

Do you all, with experience with generators, see any issues, with an older unit and any issues with the Honda's EU200i in general.

Thanks,
Markiemark

Buy as many as you can. And get em quick before they are gone. Stop reading this forum now, and go get em. What are you waiting for?

That's an excellent price for brand new and never been used, in the box. These units, seem to never change in price - $799 to $999 depending on where you buy them. I don't see any problems with this. No known issues that I know of for that model. I'd be more concerned buying used because you wouldn't know how it was stored - fuel in it, etc. Go for it.

At that price I would buy as many as they have for sale. I buy off Craigs List
and resell them for $750 each so your price is a hell of a deal !!!

Like others said, Time to "git 'er done"
Mine is 4 yrs old and runs like new.
Easier to use at home than running an extension cord outdoors.

I would be willing to participate in a purchase of one of these. If you can, buy me one and I'll get some money sent to you so you can ship it to me. That is one heck of a deal!!!!!!!!!

I guess I should of posted just the question, if a Honda EU200i, sitting un-used for 3 years and never been used (sealed box), would it potentially have any issues.

Also, with these generators, how well do they work, and is maintenace required, etc...

Letting out the potential deal, I may get, is making me a lot of friends here!

Thanks,
Markiemark
